Policies

We do not support or promote practices that encourage extreme consumption of alcohol, and our staff follow the Liquor Service Codes of Practice and regulations applicable to responsible service of alcohol in each state.

All our staff are trained in identifying situations that may cause harm or patrons undertaking risky behaviour, and how to deal with these situations.

Excessive alcohol consumption, under-age drinking and alcoholism are serious social issues and we support community and government initiatives designed to address and prevent them.

Customers are required to produce a current Australian driver’s license, passport or other valid form of identification to be presented upon request.

It is our aim that all our customers that wish to partake in gambling do so responsibly.

We understand and acknowledge that problem gambling is a serious issue, and we aim to help people affected by problem gambling, to make better decisions regarding their gambling habits, while at our venues.

Utilising appropriate internal and/or external expertise when required in all related activities.

Establishing clear targets and objectives on a biennial basis to improve health and safety in the workplace.

Maintaining a positive safety culture through encouraging active participation, consultation and cooperation of all employees, contractors and visitors in promoting and developing measures to improve health and safety at work.

Actively responding to and investigating all incidents, and ensuring injured employees are returned to suitable work at the earliest possible opportunity through equitable claims management and rehabilitation practices.

The Cross Keys Hotel will implement and maintain these systems, inclusive of standards, policies and procedures. These standards will be monitored regularly to ensure their integrity and effectiveness to facilitate continuous improvement.
